Maruti Baleno is a premium sedan from the Indian manufacturer which is very popular among buyers. It is also a popular car in the circle of modifications. Earlier this year, Maruti launched the premium sedan facelift. Maruti Baleno competes with cars like Hyundai i2, Honda Jazz in its segment. We have featured several modified Maruti Baleno on our website in the past. Some of them focus on flashy exterior modifications while others look for modifications to improve performance. Here we have a pre-facelift Maruti Baleno sedan that has been neatly packaged in the color blue along with other modifications.
The video was uploaded by Vashu Singh on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks to the owner of the Baleno to learn more about the modifications made to the Baleno. The car owner has a car detailing studio and he did most of the modifications himself. This is the premium Maruti Baleno diesel sedan. Starting at the front, the car gets aftermarket projector LED headlights that are more powerful than the stock ones. The headlight was blacked out and a blue colored eyelid was also placed.
The grille of this sedan has also been dechromed. The original Suzuki grille and logo were replaced with a mesh grille. The lower part of the bumper receives a body kit offered by the Nexa dealership itself. The fog lights are also aftermarket units. There are strobe lights on the lower part of the bumper. Coming to the side profile, you’ll notice the car sits lower than a regular Maruti Baleno. This is because the owner installed lower springs in the car. It completely changed the position of the car. To complete the lowered look, the owner also installed aftermarket all-white alloy wheels with 14-inch tires wrapped around them.
The entire car has been wrapped in the Bahamas Blue tint and panels like the ORVM and fenders are covered in forged carbon. The roof has also been blacked out. As we move to the rear, this car’s stock taillights have been replaced with a full LED aftermarket unit. It gets a slightly smoky film rolled over it. Besides the rear lights, aftermarket reflector LEDs are also installed on the car bumper. The rear skid plate is wrapped in gloss black and the duck spoiler on the tailgate gets a forged carbon finish. There is also a large bespoke roof-mounted spoiler fitted to the car.
Overall the car looks different on the road and the owner mentions that he did not perform any performance upgrades on this car. The interior of this Baleno has also been slightly customized. It gets an all-black roof liner and dampening has been done for a better audio experience. The owner of this car installed an audio system worth Rs 1.5 lakh in this Baleno. He mentions that he still uses it with the original Baleno touchscreen unit. Apart from the audio or speaker system, the owner spent nearly Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh on modifications.
