Kia Seltos base variant modified for the top-of-the-range GT Line model

Kia Seltos is currently one of the most popular mid-size SUVs on the market. It competes directly with Hyundai Creta and other SUVs like MG Hector, Tata Safari and even lower versions of Mahindra XUV700. It quickly became popular with buyers for its bold looks and premium interior. Several aftermarket accessories are now available for Seltos, but there is now a new trend where the lower variant of Kia Seltos is modified with original Kia accessories to transform it into a higher version. Here we have such a video where a lower HTE variant of Seltos is completely transformed into a GT Line.

The video was uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES to their YouTube channel. The video begins with a vlogger explaining all the modifications to the SUV. At the front, the headlights of the projectors have been replaced by all the LED units. The grille and the upper and lower chrome accents that surround it have also been replaced. The car now also receives the extended LED DRLs.

The front bumper of the SUV was also replaced with a GT Line unit. It gets red accents in the lower part of the false front skid plate. Ice cube-shaped LED fog lights are also installed in the car. As for the side profile, the turn signal on the fender was removed and a fake chrome vent was placed in it. The ORVMs have been replaced and are now equipped with integrated LED indicators.

The car has now been finished in two-tone. The lower side cladding of the car also receives red GT Line accents. The wheels are another interesting feature of this SUV. The original steel rims were replaced with 18-inch two-tone X-Line edition alloy rims. At the rear the car has a GT Line bumper, roof mounted spoiler, all LED taillights, rear view camera and sensors and the GT Line branding. on the tailgate. The chrome applique that goes between the taillights has also been replaced.

Upon moving in, the interiors were also completely personalized. The vlogger has made several changes to make it look like a GT Line version. The car receives custom black seat covers. Damping has been done on all four doors and the floor of the SUV has also been laminated and also receives floor mats. All door cushions are covered with leather upholstery with contrasting stitching. In addition to the door pads, the dashboard is also covered in leather.

The steering wheels are covered in leather and it receives steering wheel controls as well as cruise control. The gear knob has been replaced and it gets ambient lights in the foot area. The car receives an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system that also displays power to the rear view camera. A custom frame around the touchscreen system has also been installed to give it a neat look. Overall the fit and finish of the job done is very good and it doesn’t look like any basic HTE variant from any angle.
