Maruti’s best-selling Brezza SUV in September, Tata Nexon 2nd. Control List

Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza became the top-selling sport utility vehicle (SUV) in September with over 15,400 units sold. According to a report by HT’s sister publication, LivehindustanTata Nexon and Hyundai Creta secured the second and third positions respectively.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza:

Maruti sold 15,445 Brezza units in September, compared to 1,874 units in the same month last year, according to the report. The Brezza 2022 is offered at a starting price of 7.99 lakh (old showroom), according to the car manufacturer’s website.

It is available in seven variants, the most expensive being 6AT ZXI+ at 13.80 lakh. Maruti supplied nine colors for the SUV, including Brave Khakhi, Exuberant Blue, Magma Gray and Pearl Arctic White.

Brezza has a rear AC vent, more cabin space, a 360-degree camera, and a power sunroof, among other features. When it comes to safety, Maruti has provided the SUV with six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, etc.

Tata Nexon:

Nexon was the second best-selling SUV last month, according to the report. Tata Motors sold 14,518 units of Nexon in Septemberagainst 9,211 units in the same month the previous year.

Interested customers can purchase Nexon at a starting price of 7.60 (ex-showroom). The highest price of the SUV is 14.08 lakh (former showroom).

Nexon is available in petrol and diesel and several variants have been planned for the SUV. Tata also presented three editions for Nexon-Jet, Kaziranga and Dark. Nexon has two front airbags, ABS with EBD, height adjustable seat belts, rear view camera and many other features.

In July, Nexon was India’s top-selling SUV.

Hyundai Creta:

With 12,866 units sold, Hyundai Creta has become the third best-selling SUV in September. In the same month last year, nearly 8,200 units were sold. Creta is available in petrol and diesel and is offered at a starting price of 10,44,000 (ex-showroom).

Hyundai provided eight colors for this SUV. Safety wise, Creta has six airbags, rear parking sensors, hill assist control and anti-theft alarm, etc.

The SUV features improved seating and storage, a front skid plate for sporty appeal and a long hood.

Punch Tata:

Another one Tata SUV – Punch made the list of the top five selling SUVs in the country last month. Punch secured the fourth position on this list with 12,251 units sold. Just like Tata Nexon, Punch also comes in multiple variations. The SUV also comes with two editions – Camo and Kaziranga. Interested customers can purchase Punch at a starting price of 5.92 lakh.

A few Punch safety features include dual front airbags, rear view camera, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and more.

Hyundai website:

Venue was India’s fifth best-selling SUV in September with over 11,000 units sold. It is available at a starting price of 7.53 lakh in petrol and diesel. The The SUV has a two-tone interior and over 60 connected car features.

According to Hyundai, Venue has Alexa and Google Voice assistants that will allow users to control vehicle functions from the comfort of their own home. Regarding safety, there are six airbags in the SUV, rear parking assist camera, vehicle stability management, hill assist control and automatic headlights and headlight escort function, etc
